ComInTec type DSA for forces 30 to 7000N
Type DSA axial force limiters trip at an adjustable pre-set force in tension or compression. On overload they move through a stroke with low resistance force and the movement can be detected with a proximity switch.
These axial force limiters are backlash free and easy to adjust with the innovative ComInTec Calibration system. They trip at the same force in either tension or compression. Manual reset takes them back to the original length position.
Three models and different spring settings suit release forces 30 to 7000N and each setting is mechanically adjustable over a range from 4:1 up to 10:1 on some sizes. Typical applications are for gearbox torque arm mounting and for crank arms. The DSA limiter itself comprises central cylindrical module that contains the spring loaded arms. External rods and eye connections can be supplied customised for individual applications.
