Designed for outdoor applications and use in wet areas, these corrosion resistant brakes are proven in pitch drives on wind turbines.  A wide range of coil voltages are possible and they suit ambients of -20 to +40^oC with a 100% duty rating.

This new design delivers economic braking to high torques in a compact package.  An innovative manual release has an easy action and is lockable.  It is available with a single or double rotor at 750/1500Nm.  The IP66 protection suits water jet environments.  Through shafts are possible and options include non-contaction function sensors or heaters.
