Mechanical and electrical equipment for position measurement and display is offered from partner company and specialist manufacturer FIAMA srl.  Main products are mechanical digital and clock type position indicators, encoders, and transducers for linear and rotary motion, displays and controllers for process variables

Digital position indicators

The OP series of digital indicators display the linear distance travelled by converting the rotation of a leadscrew into numeric values.  They are designed to fit over shafts with diameters between 6 and 35mm.  Internal gearing can be matched to the pitch of the leadscrew to give a true value.  Imperial and metric models are available with optional handles, locking arms and rotation knobs.  more information>>

Encoders and transducers

Both linear and rotary motion can be measured with encoders that give a pulse output and transducers that give a variable resistance output.Cable position sensors have linear ranges up to 12m with repeatability to 0.02mm. Linear encoders with rod connection suit up to 900mm.  Non-contacting linear encoders range up to 25m with resolution to 0.01mm and speeds to 3m/s.  Both incremental and absolute models are available.  more information>>

Handwheel position indicator

Handwheel clock-type indicators can be panel mounted or part of a handwheel assembly.  Gravity operation is possible for horizontal shafts giving displays of angles, positions or speeds.  Vertical mounting is possible with gearing. Customised construction with customer-specific dials is the norm. more information>>

Displays & controllers

Digital displays are available for force, pressure, weight and other process variables.  Level sensors and controllers suit liquids and powders, complete positioning systems include the controller, the display and servo positioning heads.  more information>>
