A4 series drives 50W to 1.5kW

Three types of Panasonic A4 series servo drives are available: Analogue, Positioner and Stepper replacement. Each type has 7 power levels 50 to 1500W and match with the standard Panasonic servo motors.  All suit single phase supply 200-240V, 50-60Hz.

A4P Positioner

Simple positioning drive with up to 60 programmable positions.

Panasonic A4S stepper replacement1


A4S Stepper replacement

Pulse following or internal speed control for simple applications where stepper motors cannot achieve the required performance.

  • 8 internal jog speeds
  • pulse train input
  • 50W to 1.5kW

Advanced Panasonic features for easy control include electronic motor nameplate recognition for faster commissioning, real time auto-gain tuning, vibration control to reduce resonance, electronic motor nameplate for automatic set-up and 1kHz bandwidth. 

Drives are RoHs compliant and meet CE, UL ad TUV standards.

Free Panaterm Operating software is available for parameter setting, monitoring and diagnostics.  A summary of Panaterm features is given in the catalogue.

Matching pre configured cables are available for power and encoder feedback connections to the motor, I/O, RS485 network and RS232 connection to PC.
