Vogel spiral bevel gearboxes are designed for direct connection to servo motors. The right angled assembly with gear ratios from 3 to 100 gives flexibility and easy mounting.
Precision gears give low noise levels and a 20000 hour design life. Efficiency is high at 95% for low ratios to 92% at high ratios. Standard backlash is low at 5 arcmins and this can be reduced on request to below 3arcmins.
Type SK (male shaft output) and SKH (hollow shaft output)
These models have a single bevel gearset giving reductions from 3 to 10. Maximum input speed is 7500r/min. The SKH with hollow output shaft uses a compression coupling to achieve a zero backlash output connection.
Type SKPR (male shaft output) and SKPG (face output)
These two versions include a second planetary gearset to achieve ratios from 12 to 100. Maximum input speed is 7500r/min. The type SKPG features output through a bolted face connection that increases rigidity and reduces the length.
