Standard 1-phase asynchronous motors
General purpose AC motors for single phase supply
Techdrives 1-phase asynchronous electric motors are available in standard and high-starting torque designs in a power range 45W to 2.2kW.
Advice - these motors suit fixed speed operation. If variable speed is required, use a standard 3-phase motor with a frequency inverter such as the Lenze smd or SMV.
Permanent capacitor motors are lowest in cost but starting torques are low. For higher starting torques use the motors with separate start and run capacitors, actuated by a centrifugal switch
