Vogel spiral bevel gearboxes are robust cast iron designs available in 10 sizes with ratios from 1 to 6. They are used on production machinery to turn a drive through 90 degrees and options include 2 or 3 output shafts, hollow shafts and motor flange inputs, Standard backlash is low at 10 arcmins maximum, and on request this can be reduced to 4 arcmins. Gearboxes are designed with high quality seals and bearings for low noise and a 20000 hour life.
Main Versions
Type L: male shaft input & two male outputs
Type K: male shaft input & one male output
Type H: male shaft input & hollow shaft output
Motor flanges: possible on all models, ie, ML,MK, MH
Gearbox efficiency ranges from 80% on smaller sizes(050) up to 96% on large sizes (500,600). Short term peak torque rating is 180%, permissible up to 1000 times during the lifetime. Gear ratios are exact.
