Robust all metal couplings for shafts 3 to 75mm
Techdrives offers the Simplaflex range of spring type shaft couplings for torques 2.5 to 900 Nm. These one-piece all metal couplings are tough and compact with high misalignment capacity. They can run at high speeds and suit shafts from 3 to 75mm.
Type: One-piece al steel, torisionally soft and backlash free.
Construction: Three layers each with three square section springs connect between two hubs. The assemblies are torsionally soft with angles of twist under bad between 1° and 4°. Three different lengths allow angular misalignment between 3° and 6°. Hubs are fixed by keyway and grabscrew or pinning, alternatively clamp hub versions are available.
Type MM connects between two shafts
Type MF connects shaft to flange
Type FF connects between two flanges
Applications: General cases needing compact couplings that are torisionally soft but backlash free, suitable dirty environments and ambients up to 100°C.
