Aluminium worm geared motors

Simple & adaptable drives 90W to 2.2kW

Aluminium worm geared motors are compact and economic right angle drives with an adaptable mounting system and short lead times.  Powers range from 90W to 2.2kW and output speeds 9 to 265 r/min.  Standard models are fitted with 3 phase AC motors but alternatives of 1-phase, DC and brake motors are also available.  These geared motors are sealed for life and maintenance free.

The efficiency of worm gearboxes, is relatively low at 50 to 80%.  We recommend that for energy saving reasons these geared motors are used for intermittent drives.  Where the drive is continuous consider the Lenze GKR bevel gearboxes with efficiency of about 96%.
